SpaceUp Australia

Posted by on Sep 01 2014, in

SpaceUp Australia is an event focused on space-related topics that will feature predetermined talks from a few special guest speakers, as well as time-slots dedicated to attendee-led sessions.

The topics of these talks will be selected to represent a wide range of disciplines related to space research and exploration.

The idea behind this event is to promote a casual environment where issues related to the space sector can be discussed between the attendees with more ease than at a normal conference, and to create opportunities for students and the general public to network with professionals from the space industry.

I will be reading from my verse novel ‘Migration’ at the conference, and some of my poetry will be on display as part of an exhibition dedicated to space-related projects currently being developed around Australia.

I am really excited about this event and to meet more of the Mars One candidates who have inspired my writing.
