The Physicist and the Poet
Physics meets Poetry in a Perth City Library special event for National Science Week! Join award-winning poet Bronwyn Lovell for a reading from her upcoming verse novel “Migration” — based on Mars One’s mission to colonise Mars in 2025. Following the reading, Bronwyn will be joined by Mars One astronaut candidate Josh Richards for a Q&A session covering poetry, physics and the challenges of life, love and death in space.
Bronwyn Lovell is a Melbourne-based writer. Her poetry has been published in the Australian Poetry Journal, Australian Love Poems, Antipodes, Cordite Poetry Review and the Global Poetry Anthology. Bronwyn has won the Adrien Abbott Poetry Prize and been shortlisted for the Newcastle, Bridport and Montreal prizes. www.bronwynlovell.com
